Lately life seems like its full of the "seemingly meaningless" things.
Cutting out animal heads, taking little children to the restroom and spending literally 3/4ths of my day going back and forth. Organizing things over and over because no one puts anything back; and having to say the same corrections over and over and over and... you catch my drift?

It gets frustrating, it weighs you down, it all hangs around in your thoughts (well for women it does)
In the middle of a group text between some YoungLife/WyldLife leaders and I, I expressed that I feel like all I do is the meaningless things. Immediately, God speaks.
"So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." Galatians 6:9
Don't get tired of doing WHAT IS GOOD
Now I firmly believe that if you are not doing something good, then stop and start doing good things.
But if you are bored, strained, frustrated and tired of doing the good... take a minute to think this through.
Preparing a way for children to learn the basics of life and to experience God's love... man I'm tired of doing that.
Constantly pursuing youth that don't quite grasp God and are running from Him... ugh this is a pain.
UM WHAT?! Why do we get like this? Where are these thoughts coming from?
We are doing what IS GOOD, why does that feel like such a pain?
We need to ignite our excitement! Remember the passion we had that initially kick started us doing whatever it is we are doing.
...If we don't GIVE UP
I'm sure that you are on the brink of giving up, trust me... I know how you are feeling.
But the bible clearly states that a wonderful harvest of blessings will be reaped IF we do not give up.
You see the day we get our blessings, the day our break through comes, is the day after we give up.
It is never achieved, it's not rewarded to quitters. Only to those who stand, fight and withstand the hard and frustrating times.
God is looking for those who love Him, who obey Him and those who stand firm while everything else is falling apart. We can't stand firm on our own, when we try is when negativity takes hold. Be rooted in the word, roots that will produce good fruit in and out of season.
And let the good things that you do, not be good for people, but be a good work that is done for the Lord.
"They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do." Psalms 1:3
" Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23-24
